    Crap article

I just get bored of these idiots regurgitating rubbish from the Sun, Mirror etc. with no facts.

    What a truly rubbish article.
  • Wenger is god · 3 months ago
I dont recknon your a gooner mate, I recknon this a dirty Yid writing this articale.

Wenger is God. 13 years ago we were only dreaming of playing the likes of the Milans, Real Madrid, Barc etc. Not only have we acheieved out dream of competing with the likes of the best in the world but we have now beaten them. Prior to this, the only 'dreams' we had meet were beating Parma in the Cup Winners Cup in '94 (i think right date).

Wenger had a dream to take us to the highest level and he has got us there. We are one of the best and richest clubs in the world. 10 years ago we were as good as the likes of the Yids etc and our goal was to break into the top 3 and compete.

Lets not get too carried away and not get the typical Chelsea attitude that if we dont win jack shite we not good enough. We reached the semi-final of the FA cup and the semi-final of the Champions league last season, we nearly there!

Arsene wouldn't take the job. He's said on more than a few occasions that England should be managed by an English manager.
  • Mehmett · 3 months ago
John, Wenger was right. When a country is as big as England, they should find a citizen coach. Saying so, I am not against the current England coach, but when you look countries like Spain and France, they stick with their very own coach.

So why not England? They English is lacking Englishness as Bilic said. There are pretty few English coaches who can take the national team to glory. Kevin Keegan is underrated but I think he can take the English national team to WC2014

As much I want our Le Gaffer to succeed in an international level which I'm most sure he will, I am not ashamed to say that I am selfish to expect Wenger to be at Arsenal forever. He made this club what it is with the style of football and financial stability. As long as we support him in everything he does, I'm sure he will be on our side. And besides, We gonna end the trophy drought this season..mark my words fellas !..Go gunners !..

Wenger as England boss? If anything, I would predict Wenger to move to manage the French national team. He has had quite a few French players go through Arsenal, and he is French. Domenech is tanking with his old guard, and people are looking for a fresh, revitalized, quick and deadly French team and they can find that under Wenger's direction.

But if Wenger decides to stay in Arsenal, that's great too.

have you not got nothing better to do than type this crap?

Haha, you're getting some really positive responses mate!

But seriously, I think you're missing a key point. The only reason Arsenal is limited financially is due to the debt structure. As that debt gets paid down (Arsenal was by far the most profitable team in the premiership last year, making over 30mill + we have another 30mm net from the transfer market this year alone) over the next few years, we will have a lot more flexibility.

Without a dout Le Wenger is looking ahead to those years and salivating at the prospect of combining a well oiled engine with some tactical purchases.

As much pressure as he's got in North London, let's face it, his rein is relatively unchallenged. He's never realistically been under fire in all his years with Arsenal.

On the other hand, coaching England and trying to get the homegrown talent to play 'the beautiful way' while fending off the media and England fans would be unbearable. There is no patience with England the way there is at the Emirates. Ain't gonna happen.

    Lmao @ replies.

I agree with the rest, and in particular mootzi. There is no way Wenger will take on england. He likes to build a squad of personalities. He can't do that with a national team as he is stuck with the existing players.

To suggest he will leave before 3 years cos of the rebuilding needed is crap.

What a pointless post! Enough said

dont you guys remember the board chairman saying that arsene wenger will be given the chance to manage arsenal for life? there is no one and i repeat no one who can challenge arsene on his job. whether he wins a title or not. he helps the management make a profit and they in turn let him do as he pleases. the only way wenger is getting out of arsenal is if he wishes or if the club gets a new owner and he doesnt like wengers tactics and wenger does not wnt to be bossed around. afew more trophyless years can also make him to quit but on his own not a sack! wenger is arsenal and vice versa.
  • diceman1984 · 3 months ago
Cannot see it happen, as I think Wenger can see it's career suicide. He can't win either way
  • andrew76 · 3 months ago
i laugh at the suggestion that wenger would want to manage the national team of a country whose media takes delight in ridiculing him, whose citizens (bar arsenal supporters) vilify him and accuse him of being a child molester.
face it, england do not deserve the great man arsene wenger. i would love nothing more than to see a wenger-managed france beat england in a world cup final.
  • brian87 · 3 months ago
the only national side he can manage is the french national side where he can get to work with his beloved clichy, henry, diaby, sagna, nasri and a few other french youngsters in the junior team.

Wenger and England National Team? Only rumours with no element of truth! Not that the master tactician ia not good for the job, but because of the way the english press and the majority of English men are when it comes to "where you are from".
  • Manu_the_gooner · 3 months ago
Wenger was the one who was angry england appointed a foreign manager, he'll not take the england job, i think he might take the france job if he leave, and i dont think he will, because he put too much effort into this to let it slip now, but if i were him(and if i really wanted to spend money) then i would put pressure on the board to make funds available or threaten to leave

AW has said on more than one occasion that managing an international team, ANY international team, would not suit him.

So no, he isn't going to be managing England, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Lesser Slobivia etc this year, next year, the year after that, or ANY year in the current millenium.

One would think that if you're keen on writing on a topic (AW in this case), you would at least know a little bit about the subject.
